Audiometric Testing

By monitoring hearing health, employers can reduce workplace risks, demonstrate due diligence, and safeguard the long-term well-being of their teams. Regular testing helps identify the early signs of noise-induced hearing loss, allowing you to take corrective action before permanent damage occurs.

Protect your workers’ hearing and maintain Occupational Health and Safety compliance with annual Audiometric Testing.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Occupational Health and Safety Regulations state that when a worker is required to work in an area in which noise levels exceed the criteria for permissible noise exposure established by the ACGIH Noise Threshold Limit Values (TLVs), a hearing conservation program is required to be established and maintained. Requirements of a hearing conservation program include testing workers within the first three months of employment and annually thereafter. We can test them at our facility, at the client's facility, and/or using our new soundproof audiometric booth.

Testing is done in accordance with CSA Standard Z107.6.
